Trading conduct and prohibited strategies
Fundzoria is built for manual, independent trading. Most styles are welcome, but a short list of practices is not allowed, and most of them end the account.
- Hedging within one account: allowed
- Scalping and short-term trading: allowed
- Cross-account hedging: hard breach
- Copy trading and signal services: hard breach
- Automated trading: not supported
What is allowed
- Hedging within one account: holding a buy and a sell on the same instrument is allowed. Each position needs its own margin.
- Scalping and short-term trading on every program. The hyperactivity limit still applies.
- Placing the same trade idea manually on several accounts in your own profile.
- Holding several accounts in one profile, each measured against its own rules. Active Zero accounts are limited to $200,000 combined.
- Overnight and weekend holding.
- Trading without a stop loss, although a stop loss is strongly recommended.
Prohibited strategies
Each practice below has a definition, an example and the consequence. Hard breaches end the account; soft breaches start with a warning.
Copying trades between different people, following a signal-copying service, or using a pass-my-challenge service.
How is it calculated?
- Example: mirroring another trader’s orders from a shared channel, or paying someone to pass your evaluation
- Consequence: hard breach of every account involved
Opening opposite positions across different accounts, or coordinating them with another person, so that one side is likely to pass whatever the market does.
How is it calculated?
- Example: buying 5 lots of XAU/USD on one account while selling 5 lots on another account, yours or someone else’s
- Consequence: hard breach of all accounts involved
Any form of arbitrage, including trading on price-feed delays, stale quotes or price differences between the terminal and other sources.
How is it calculated?
- Example: watching a faster external feed and buying in the terminal before its quote catches up
- Consequence: hard breach, and the affected trades are excluded
Trading on obviously mispriced quotes, frozen prices, glitches or any technical fault instead of reporting it.
How is it calculated?
- Example: opening positions on a price spike that did not occur in the wider market
- Consequence: hard breach. Report suspected errors to support with the account and trade references
Letting anyone else log in to, trade or manage your account, or trading an account that belongs to someone else.
How is it calculated?
- Example: giving your login to an account manager who trades your evaluation for you
- Consequence: hard breach, and the profile may be restricted while the activity is reviewed
Creating more than one Fundzoria profile, or registering with another person’s details.
How is it calculated?
- Example: opening a second profile with another email to get around the Zero allocation limit
- Consequence: hard breach of the accounts on duplicate profiles, and the profiles may be closed
Scripts, macros, browser automation or any tool that places, changes or closes orders automatically.
How is it calculated?
- First case: a warning, and the affected trades are excluded from results
- Repeated use: hard breach
More than 200 orders in one trading day, or rapid-fire order placement designed to game execution.
How is it calculated?
- First case: a warning, and the day’s affected trades may be excluded
- Repeated: hard breach
Risking most of your loss allowance on one one-sided idea: a single oversized position, or several in the same direction, that a small move would breach.
How is it calculated?
- Example: on a $100K 2-Step Standard account, 20 lots of EUR/USD lose the full $5,000 daily allowance on a move of about 25 pips
- First case: a warning, and the affected trades may be excluded
- Repeated: hard breach
Copy trading and trading the same idea
| Situation | Allowed? |
|---|---|
| You place the same trade idea manually on several accounts in your own profile | Yes |
| You copy another person’s trades, by hand or with a tool | No, hard breach |
| You follow a signal-copying service | No, hard breach |
| Someone passes your challenge for you, paid or not | No, hard breach |
| You open opposite positions on two accounts, yours or someone else’s | No, cross-account hedging |
Automated trading and EAs
The web terminal is built for manual trading and does not support automated trading. MT4, MT5 and other external platforms are not available, so Expert Advisors cannot be connected.
Example: cross-account hedging
Buying 5 lots of XAU/USD on one account while selling 5 lots on another account, yours or someone else’s, is cross-account hedging and breaches all accounts involved.
Your login and your profile
Keep your login private
You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not share access, impersonate another person or use someone else’s account.
One profile per person
Each person may hold one profile with accurate details. A one-way hash of your IP address and a random browser identifier are used to detect duplicate profiles.
Suspected unauthorised access
Change your password, which signs out your other devices, and contact support promptly.
